Famous for bring back Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent back into the fashion light, with fans from every walks of life and multiple fashion awards, took the risk to venture out from Women's Wear to his own line of Menswear. We could tell it has a high chance of success by the way he dressed, but high hopes were pinned.

'Tom Ford' at Madison Avenue menswear store, the first under his own name. Quoted, "the shop's appeal will rest on exceptional service and immaculate clothes. Nearly everything (from underwear to fragrances) can be custom-designed, and the staff includes 12 salespeople, two tailors, and four seamstresses (there is even an on-site atelier, which Ford dramatically revealed by pulling back a curtain in one of the dressing rooms)".

The store is intended to have a residential feel, with many elements (beaver-skin rugs, oversize lamps, the sly Lucio Fontana artwork) coming from Ford's own collections. The design is 1930s-inspired, with a wet bar and even butlers and maids who will fetch you lunch during your appointment.

What ever it may be, the most important thing would be the design of his latest creation ready available to be judged by the mass public in New York.

(Booty Shaking 15) Louis Vuitton Limited Designs Series

Louis Vuitton had been always famous for their classic Monogram designs, however in 2005, Marc Jacobs and Japanese Artist Takashi Murakami (Murakami is considered one of the leaders of Japanese Neo-Pop. Famous for his colorful and cheerful enigmatic work) came out with their highly sought after limited edition Louis Vuitton Cherry Blossom Cerises, followed by their hard to find (sold out everywhere) brown and pink combo with printing of the cherry blossoms - the symbol of spring in Japan.

This year, Marc Jacobs came out with their "The Groom" that represents the “Spirit of Travel” for Men.

Years before that, Louis Vuitton came out with a patchwork picture design sewn from fabics of their various leather works. (I am unsure of the designer then and the series name, however I still manage to find 3 of their designs on the net). This year, Marc Jacobs came out with their "Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag", which cost USD45,352, probably one of the World’s Most Expensive Handbags. I say probably because we all know that anything is possible in the accessory industry and it’s pretty easy to get up to that dollar figure - crocodile leather diamond encrusted Hermes Birkin. Personally I would go for the Birkin, but who knows some people prefer trendy (erm, can I call this bag trendy?) over classics, such as a bag from the House of Hermes.

You are probably saying in your head, “Why so much?” Personally I don’t know why, this bag is just plain ugly in my eyes. This double sided bag is designed with a collage of 15 different Louis Vuitton Handbags from the LV spring / summer and cruise lines. Which I do like (a-l-o-n-e, not cut and collaged together)

And before entering Rehab, Marc Jacobs also feature a series of 'weird' designs in his show ranging from Monogram Denim Patchwork, Monogram Dentelle (LV monogram with 18th century lace and lurex embroidery), Polka Dots Fleurs & Navy and The Rivet Bags.

Could this be his downfall designs ever for a luxury brand or a big hit? Would anyone purchase for the Name rather than the design? I truthly wonder who is their Market targets for these designs? The Rich and Attention Seeking? I could understand their SOLD OUT 2005 Louis Vuitton Cherry Blossom Cerises, because at least it is Kawaii, but the 2007 range is simply a nightmare, haa. It's just my most honest opinion. My guess that they are fighting to get on the TOP 10 List LV had hardly entered, THE TOP TEN WORST BAGS EVER. Maybe this is another way of beating the LV FAKES because I doubt the 'fakers' wouldn't take the risk to produce such hideous designs.

(Booty Shaking 14) Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2007

Love, Love, Love Domenico and Stefano for their clever uses of colors (mercury, bronze, brass, copper, gold and silver) to fit their Inspiration from Stanley Kubrick's innovative film, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Kick start is three white Chic Astronaut's Jumpsuits to mark their theme. Notice their detailing from the buttons, belts and accessories. They never fail to add a spin of the highly charged homosexual spin to their style with a masculine touch to their clothes, that clearly define the beautiful structure of a man.

Inspirations are clearly shown from the neckline to the shoes, making man look good in shorts and trucks in the season of Fall. Attention are drawn to bulges with their how waist pants and body hugging suits, even a Heterosexual look tasteful in them.

Again, they used music from the hottest icons in the music scene, this time they moved on Madonna to Justin Timberlake with a great remix of "My Love" and "Damn Girl", and just when you think the show had end, they change the mood from futuristic pop to Orchestra sounds of the "On The Beautiful Blue Danube", with another 3 Jumpsuits on top of suits in colors of copper, bronze, gold. Fabulous.

(Booty Shaking 13) It’s in the Bag

There are a whole wide range of bags available for the everyday man right now who gyms, works and play, unlike our parent's era, we have more choices than the briefcase. It is becoming more and more of an accesory than just a bag. An with all the different kinds of activities pack into one day, we normally look for a bag to go with all our different activities for the day.

1- Messenger Bag
Often made from canvas and swung across the shoulder, messenger bags have taken on a whole new meaning in urban fashion. From students with canvas bags to urban hipsters with modern leather bags, the messenger’s laidback style will always have a classic casual flair, but today’s leather messenger tote also exudes a hint of uptown sophistication.
My personal comments is that you might not want to carry this if you want to avoid crisps on your shirt when you carry it around. A untidy man is not an attractive man.

2- Holdall
Any traveling man needs a holdall for those weekend jaunts or three-day business trips. Big, bulky luggage has transformed into sleek, stylish holdalls (or carryalls). Its design is inspired by the duffel bag, but its predominantly leather exterior and more refined appearance attribute a classic look to this practical tote.
My personal comments is that with all the different sizes keepall/holdall available, you can get the right enough size for both your work and gym neccessities.

3- Tote
A tote is the modern approach to the classic briefcase. Resembling an artisan’s bag, the tote is the utmost in casual business attire. Its basic design and usual soft leather exterior allots it a classic status, while its long handles give it a contemporary edge. If purchased in a chocolate brown or black, this bag can add a touch of laidback masculinity to any casual work wear.
My personal comments is that this is simillar to the messeger, and are a bit more girly to many, however if you choose the right fabric, color and size to go with a decent dressing, any man can pull off a daring and stylish masculine identity and be an eye candy, but a worng decision will instantly change you into a fashion victim, just like any other bag would.

4- Newsboy Bag
Like the advent of the newsboy cap, the newsboy bag is a classic style that has become synonymous with men’s casual wear. It’s similar to the messenger bag’s style, but its traditional canvas exterior makes it a little less formal than the latter. This bag style is perfect for the student on the go, as it makes a fashion statement and exudes more masculinity and style-savvy than a knapsack.
My personal comments is that this is the most casual bag of the bunch.

Throw out the old idea that bags are for women and get with the fashion-forward times. While classic bags like briefcases are still around, other bags with classic elements, like the messenger bag, are becoming almost necessary accessories for today’s modern man.

The results are out all over the web, however I do not want to be a spoiler, just in case you have to catch them yet. The top three designers are Wayne Aveline, Monika Rene and Luke Youngblood. Simply loves the designs from the Winner and Runner up.

(Booty Shaking 10) Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Bryant Park never fails to loses its charm to be one of the annual fashion spot. Every year it features American designers displaying their creations and talents. Not forgetting that celebrities will find all ways to get themselves a sit in the front row and back stage to establish their presence.

(Booty Shaking 9) Elizabeth Hurley, Versace & the 90s

Event: Elizabeth Hurley & Arun Nayar Wedding
Location: Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire England
Date: Saturday evening March 3rd, 2007

Exclusively designed Versace Atelier wedding gown was created in a luxurious ice white French chiffon and silk tulle (way classier looking than her well known, 1994's notorious black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins, which indirectly launched her career).

As expected, Donatella completed her British Muse lavish Wedding bash with lots of her creation from the flower girls (one of which is the daughter of Tamara Mellon, the creator of Jimmy Choo) and page boys (one of which the son of Elle Macpherson) to the bride's evening dress.

Elizabeth Hurley, actress/model/host/designer, must have retired from hosting Project Catwalk (Britain's version of Project Runway) for this lifetime event.

Designer: Italian Donatella Versace (took over her late brother Gianni Versace(murdered in 1997) Fashion Empire Legacy in 1998 with her first Spring Collection). Moving on from being her brother's Muse, to having her own Liz Hurley.

With comparison, after taking over the Medusa Throne for 10 years, her gay late brother still knows how to make a statement. For us guys, who can forget his Medusa men's underwear, which was the only worthy competitor to Calvin Klien's. I guess the crown her brother created was too HUGE to be carried off by anyone.

Or was it because no one in the Millennium had achieve the fashion hype of the 90s, with Italian Gianni Versace presence, New Yorker Tom Ford as Creative Director of Gucci & Yves Saint Laurent, British John Galliano as Chief Designer at Givenchy, Dior & LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Paris legend Karl Lagerfeld making statements in Chanel, New Yorker Marc Jacobs making his own statement in 94' then moved to create Louis Vuitton First Ready-to-Wear line in 97' and British Vivienne Westwood lace-up platform boots in 93'(which brought Naomi to her knees).

Not forgetting the Real Supermodels - Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington (these four also created a fashion most memorable history by appearing together in Gianni 91' A/W show in Milan), Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, etc etc etc.

(Booty Shaking 7) John Galliano & 'Haute Couture'

John Galliano's London's prestigious St Martins College of Art & Design graduation collection, called 'Les Incroyables' ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLMztU8vBP0 ) and inspired by the French Revolution, met with immediate acclaim (Vogue's Spy column described Galliano as "a modish costumier, with a preference for romanticism and androgyny").

Lauched his own label in 1984, won the british Fasion Designer Award in 1987, and joined the international designers in 1990 with his ready to wear in Paris. Secured a contract with luxury conglomerate LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and become the first British designer to head a French couture house in 1995, as chief designer at Givenchy, and a year later, Dior. His first couture show for Dior coincided with the label's 50th anniversary, 20 January 1997. This is the video to the biggest fashion history moment he created.



'Haute Couture' is the French word for the highest, most exclusive work a big fashion house such as Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar de la Renta (House of Balmain), Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Lacroix, dresses and outfits are hand-made and made to the measures of the client. Not everyone are allowed to do a Haute Couture, every year the eligible haute couture houses are determined by a commission (the 'Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture') that meets at the Ministry of Industry.

Beening the most Luxurious Lingerie Line for years, Victoria's Secret had put put another glamourous show for 2006 (my advise is for you to download the entire video elsewhere for fuller clips).

This year Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum are joined by Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Izabel Goulart and Miranda Kerr, together with performance by Justin Timberlake "Sexy Back", performing at The Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.

Victoria's Secret has been the glamourous lingerie for years and their show has always been anticipating every year, not only because of their top notch supermodels but also due to their stage presentation.

2005 was Victoria's Secret 10 anniversary and this was also Tyra Banks Last Catwalk for Victoria's Secret and retire to be a Host/Judge/Producer. Joined together with Heidi Klum is her Husband Seal performing separately with Ricky Martin.

Great Show by Italian Design Duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana

Even after Two decades, the duo still design for the Fabulous Twenty-Somethings & they still work great together even after ending their 19 years romace in 2005.

Gay-friendly: Double-Chest Coats & Knits in Body Hugging Clothes & Low Neck Lines.
(their shows never fail to remind me to Buff Up, but it will always end up to be an one-day work out event, wishing for a miracle)
New Look: Shorts with colored leggings. Lastly a pleasant tribute to their Muse Latest Album. (which they did it for Kylie Minogue before)
